Midorikawa Hikaru!

We have news! ^_^ Midorikawa-san recently got married! Check out the English-translated announcement on his web page (click on "attention")! ^_^ Warmest congratulations to Midorikawa-san and his new wife! ^_^v

Also new this week - we stumbled across this translated interview with Midorikawa-san and Koyasu Takehito (Zechs Marquise) Be sure to check it out - the two seiyuu discuss their GW characters, among other things. :)

Midorikawa-san was born in Tochigi on 05/02/1968. His blood type is B. He's somewhere around 172 or 173 centimeters tall, weighs 73 kg and wears a 26.5 cm shoe, and he works for Aoni Production. ^_^ How do I know all that? *^_^* Well, from other sites on the Web, like Hitoshi Doi's page on Midorikawa-san. ^_^v

I also found that Midorikawa-san joined up with Okiayu Ryoutarou, Ishikawa Hideo, Hayashi Nobutoshi, and Sakaguchi Daisuke to form their own band, E.M.U. (Entertainment Music Unit)! How cool can you get? ^_^

Midorikawa-san has voiced characters in just about every anime I've ever seen - he's everywhere! ^_^v Some of the most notable characters, in my opinion, include Messiah from Earthian, Tamahome in Fushigi Yuugi, Heero Yuy (duh ^_~), and Mikage Souji in Revolutionary Girl Utena. ^_^ You can find a more complete list of Midorikawa-san's many roles at Hitoshi Doi's Page and Hikaru Midorikawa Anime Page. ^_^

If you're interested in finding out about the many CD's Midorikawa-san has recorded, both as a solo artist and as a seiyuu, check here. ^_^

I also found a translated interview with Midorikawa-san, regarding his thoughts on his role as Tamahome. ^_^ And I found a Japanese site on Midorikawa-san, and, best of all, a link to Hikaru's Bar! Midorikawa-san's own site! ^_^ Unfortunately, I can't understand a word of it... *^_^* But if you click on the "voice" link, you'll hear Midorikawa-san telling you... uh... something. *^_^* But doesn't he sound different? ^_^

Mark Hildreth!

We had a hard time finding good pictures of Mr. Hildreth, but one of our readers (thank you!) did give us a pointer in the direction of his web site! We found the picture on the top left there at an Animerica feature page - they have an interview with Mr. Hildreth there. ^_^v There is also a list of roles he's played at Voice Chasers.Org Quicksylver found the two images on the bottom for us - apparently, they are snaps from a movie called "My Son, Johnny." He sure looks different in these two, doesn't he? O.o; Thanks for the pics, Quicksylver! ^_^

Mr. Hildreth has done voice acting in other anime series, such as Street Fighter and the Fatal Fury series. :) I was really pleased when I finally got to hear his rendition of Heero Yuy; the GW dub in general is among the better dubs I've heard. :) Mr. Hildreth's Heero still conveys that "don't interfere with my missions if you want to live" kind of attitude, so in our ever-so-humble opinion, Heero comes across pretty well in the dub. :) The Epyon vs. Wing Zero fight made us especially happy, for some reason. ^_^v

Thanks to our readers for recent updates! It looks like Mr. Hildreth is currently appearing in a PAX Sunday night show called "Young Blades!" Be sure to check it out!
